Talking about Gaming the Irish Way!

Sep 24, 2014

This week's hosts: Icecream, Humbug and Oisin

This week we bring you what very well may be the first in a sporadic series of reviews of VERY old games. Older than your grandparents. Older than THEIR grandparents, if possible. Oisin brought along a very, very cool game called Fletcher Pratt's Naval Wargame, which you better damn well play with monocles and brandy. Interestingly, Fletcher Pratt did some writing with L. Sprague De Camp, whom he met through his wargaming group.

Show notes:

Due to technical difficulties, there are no show notes for this episode. There are,  however, links to images of items Oisin brought for the review:

The turny-gubbin, movement measure and aiming arrow.

A line of shells hitting the water, represented by golf tees.
